Erin and her family | Laudholm Farm, Wells ME | Family Photography

Laudholm Farm in Wells is undoubtedly a beautiful location in it's own right, but on this particular warm day in September, we were blessed with an ethereal fog that blanketed most of the landscape. Initially we almost rescheduled due to the heavy fog but I am so glad we didn't! The fog and the late summer light produced an amazing feel to these photos. I had a wonderful time with Erin and her fun family! Her husband was a great sport with his step-daughter and I had the opportunity to capture some of their silly moments. It was important to get some shots of just Erin and her daughter too, and it was clear that they have a very special bond. It was my pleasure to work with this loving family... thank you for choosing Lumina by Marina Photography!

Meggy and her boys | Wiggly Bridge, York ME | York Maine Family Photogrpaher

In August, I had the pleasure of working with Meggy and her 3 energetic, sweet and fun boys! We met at Wiggly Bridge in York, near the Fisher walk and were thrilled to see what beautiful light we were going to have for our session. School hadn’t yet started, and it was one of those days when you wish summer would last forever. As a mom to 3 young boys (with the older 2 being twins), Meggy is a strong woman who loves her boys fiercely, and that love clearly shined through in her session and photos. Moms are so rarely in day-to-day photos (as they are typically the one behind the camera), so it was important to get some natural, relaxed shots of Meggy loving on her kiddos. The boys were playful, and with the youngest just 1 day shy of his third birthday, there was clearly some energy building for his big day!  Wiggly Bridge is one of those quintessential Maine locations that is such a gorgeous backdrop, but also a great place to catch kids naturally exploring. And these boys certainly made themselves comfortable and had a blast! I want to thank Annie for choosing Lumina by Marina Photography and giving me the privilege of capturing her beautiful family.

Sophie, Class of 2018. Senior of Kennebunk High School

Looking at these photos, you would never guess that we shot these in OCTOBER! Yes, a rare, warm, October day.... dreamy, right? These shots of Sophie turned out more amazing than either of us could have imagined. Sophie and I had to reschedule due to bad weather earlier in the week, but how lucky we were to get this unbelievable fall day instead. Sophie will be graduating from KHS in 2018 and I was so impressed with her intelligence, kindness and beautiful spirit. She's a young lady with big hopes and dreams and is setting her sights on working in the marine industry. So how perfect that Parson's Beach in Kennebunk would be the breathtaking backdrop for her photos! As a photographer, this is the kind of beach light that we dream of, and to top it off, the beach was empty (bye, tourists!), making everything easier. We caught the stellar sunset for a few shots, and then the bugs came in for the kill! We forgot bug spray, and we paid for it. But looking at these shots, you would never know! Sophie was amazing through it all and still pulled off some outfit changes. I had a fantastic evening with her and I am so glad she chose Lumina by Marina Photography.

Holiday Cheers from Johnson Family

I have know this family for almost 7 years now and photographed these cuties, since they were in mommy's belly.  We were on a fence if we should do session, when it was very foggy out. We took our chances and it came out gorgeous! So unique!

O'Brien Family

Look at this wonderful family I got to meet.  Little boys were so well behaved and so easy to photograph. Makes to love my job that much more! And look at their perfect nautical outfits!

And we were lucky enough to have very nice, mild weather in September for this gorgeous beach in Kennebunkport.

Star Island. New Hampshire

How else can you spend beautiful, warm Saturday August evening? On the boat, that is taking us to Star Island. It is such a small island, full of possibilities. We had only one hour to explore and I felt like it wasn’t enough. I could stay there for another 2 hours and play, play, play...  Especially, when you have family like this. So stunning. Thank you, Geneve Hoffman, for this opportunity.
